Visible Lift Blur Foundation
This is a sad review for me, because I was so stoked on this new foundation. The Loreal products are by far my favorite at the drugstore, and I have tried all their foundations, of which I love.
The Miracle Blur, which truly does blur out your skin, ( I'll link it here ), is one of my favorite things! I use it as a primer, or on days where I don't where any makeup.
This foundation has the same technology as the primer, so I thought that it was going to be killing two birds with one stone - bluring the imperfections while covering them.
Let's get in to the review
WHAT IT PROMISES TO DO:
"Now a makeup that blurs the look of lines, wrinkles and uneven texture while delivering the anti-aging benefits of Visible Lift. For a fresh, smooth youthful finish you'll love. And not a flaw in sight."
WHAT IT ACTUALLY DID:
In a hard to blend sort of way, it didn't blur anything and left me looking oily and off. There was just something weird about the feeling on my skin.
I tried it out for a couple of days, with primer, without primer, with powder, without powder, and there was no day that I looked at my skin and felt good.
Not that it looked that good in the beginning, but it was just a downhill battle throughout the day with the formula oxidizing and getting more oily.
Light to medium
A little pinkish for my taste
Not as wide as the True Match line
WHO WOULD LIKE THIS FOUNDATION:
Women with aging skin might be more drawn to this formula, as it is light coverage and not too thick. It promises anti aging benefits, which I did not get the chance to actually try out because I won't be using it for a long period of time, but that could be a plus side as well.
